1. Favourite Toronto neighbourhood: North York—it has an amazing selection of food, whether it be award-winning restaurants, bakeries, or local favourites from cuisines around the world. Beyond food, you can’t miss plenty of gems, including Edwards Gardens, Downsview Park, Aga Khan Museum, Ontario Science Centre and the area around Mel Lastman Square.
    
2. The ultimate Toronto souvenir: Something nostalgic for me is the ice cream at the Rogers Centre—it’s served in a Blue Jays helmet! Not only do you get to eat the ice cream, but you get a sweet souvenir as well.
    
3. Secret Toronto spot: Centre Island. It’s truly magical to explore it by paddle, whether with a kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddle board, weaving between the different islands and getting incredible city skyline views.
