The Toronto Outdoor Art Fair

Date(s): July 12 to 14, 2024
Location: Online and in-person at Nathan Phillips Square

For six decades, The Toronto Outdoor Art Fair has been one of the best opportunities to see what’s just around the corner in the art world, with hundreds of emerging and established artists sharing their best work. Each July, Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto’s City Centre fills with over 350 visual artists and crafts makers, launching careers and raising funds to support the arts throughout the year.

Since 1961, artists such as David Blackwood, Ken Danby and Edward Burtynsky have appeared at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair with stunning printmaking, realist paintings and photography.

The Toronto Outdoor Art Fair had come a long way since the early years when sculptures popped up in the Four Seasons Motor Hotel parking lot. Today, the TOAF includes the artists’ booths and talks by participating creators, gallery tours, installations of site-specific artwork, performance art and dance, and even a kids zone where future artists can play with paint and colour.

Whether you’re an artist, a collector, a student, or just an appreciator, there’s a lot to explore at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair.
