Meet Joëlle Anello

Joëlle Anello is a full-time content creator, mom and bon vivant living in Toronto. After moving to Toronto in 2009 and starting her blog La Petite Noob soon after, Joëlle fell in love with the city and the endless opportunities for fun that it had to offer.

A former downtown-dweller, Joëlle now calls Toronto’s Eastside home and believes that the magic of the city comes with exploring Toronto’s many different neighbourhoods. You can find Joëlle documenting her Toronto adventures via Instagram and TikTok.

1. Favourite Toronto neighbourhood: Hands down, Gerrard East. There you can find Toronto’s East Chinatown with its independent grocers and delicious cuisines, countless independent cafés that look like they’re out of a movie (I’m looking at you, Dineen Outpost) and a whole row of neighbourhood bars for the perfect and more casual Toronto evening out!
    
2. Favourite time of year in Toronto: Our beautiful Toronto springs. The city is marked by the numerous flowering trees in our city parks and neighbourhoods. My absolute favourite place to enjoy our spring blooms is Osgoode Hall. Pack a picnic and a book, and soak up the sun!
    
3. What’s your ‘Never Have I Ever, TO’ moment? I’m still working up the nerve to do the CN Tower’s Edge Walk. One of these days!
