Things to buy at CF Sherway Gardens

Whether you’re after a luxury purchase or something simple and specific, CF Sherway Gardens has nearly every shop you can think of. You can buy everything from a Le Creuset pot—arguably the most important kitchen item you’ll ever own—to a Tesla from their store.

Mainstays like Saks Fifth Avenue, which is home to the Saks Food Hall by Pusateri’s, Nordstrom and Tiffany & Co. are where you can shop like royalty. But the mall also caters to folks of more modest taste, who will enjoy the likes of H&M, Vans, Free People, Gap, ZARA and lululemon. There are also plenty of shops for children, like A Children’s Place, Pottery Barn Kids, GapKids and the LEGO Store. 

The mall also boasts tons of specialty shops, including furniture stores like Pottery Barn and kitchen stores like Le Creuset. Makeup lovers will be in heaven here with everything from SEPHORA and MAC Cosmetics to choose from. At the Tesla shop, browse everything customizable in your new electric vehicle and book a test drive right from the shop. From swanky steakhouses to fast food to hot cups of coffee, CF Sherway Gardens has anything you desire for food. Go for a quick and satisfying food court bite or sit down at one of the mall’s many bars and restaurants for a slow, relaxed meal.

The Keg Steakhouse + Bar

With traditional steak and seafood meals, this modern steakhouse is a cozy spot to grab a drink and a bite after shopping. It’s located in the mall right by H&M and Gap.

The Pickle Barrel

Find anything from diner breakfast and fresh coffee to comfort food and cocktails at this eatery with indoor and outdoor dining. Located in the mall, this is a great place to munch on some coconut shrimp and nurse a cocktail after a long day of shopping.

Aroma Espresso Bar

Fuel up for your day of shopping with a java at this futuristic coffee bar. Grab some sweets, a fresh herbal tea, or a hit of caffeine before you hit the shops. This location is next to the Le Creuset store.

Danish Pastry House

Located next to MAC Cosmetics, this specialty pastry shop is the best place to satisfy your sweet tooth on your trip to CF Sherway Gardens. Pick up a cream bun to munch on your walk about or buy a freshly baked loaf of bread to enjoy at home.

Things to see at CF Sherway Gardens

As a longstanding community hub in Etobicoke and the Greater Toronto Area, CF Sherway Gardens holds several events to bring the neighbourhood together each year.

Since the 1990s, CF Sherway Gardens has held a farmers’ market outside to offer fresh and local fruits and veggies for the community. Since 2016, the mall has been home to Yoga in Sherway Square, now called the Summer Fitness Program, in which free fitness classes are offered on the open floors of the mall. Visit the mall each summer to take advantage of these free classes. In autumn, the mall transforms for the annual St. Joseph’s Toronto West Halloween Fest, where kids can trick-or-treat while parents shop around.

The beautiful building is also filled with fascinating architecture and artistic installments to peruse during your shop. When the place opened in the 1970s, there were four gardens to make shoppers feel like they were outside. Now, the Holiday Gardens experience each year showcases striking and immense displays to celebrate the season. Make sure to also check out the statue Miracle, by John McEwen, and take a peek at the mall’s green roof from Sherway Gardens Road.

There are flagship and experience shops, like Canada Goose’s “The Journey,” which is an immersive digital experience about the history of the company. The store is even cold so you can see how warm their jackets really are! In a similar vein, RBC’s eXperience shop is so much more than a bank branch. This swanky lounge is a great place for RBC customers to relax while they shop.

  • CF Sherway Gardens has a green roof, meaning there is a garden on its roof! This helps absorb rainwater—2,500 bathtubs full, to be exact. You can see it from the condos on Sherway Gardens Road
  • CF Sherway Gardens opened in 1971
  • The mall had one of the first mall food courts in North America
  • Ricky Martin held a concert at Sherway Gardens in the early 2000s
  • The mall in Mean Girls is CF Sherway Gardens. The Sentinel (2006) was also filmed here

How to get to CF Sherway Gardens

CF Sherway Gardens is located just off the Gardiner Expressway, making it an easy spot to access by several modes of transportation.

By car: CF Gardens is about 20 minutes from Toronto via the Gardiner Expressway West. It is about 15 minutes from Mississauga via Hurontario Street, Cawthra Road, or Highway 427 South.

Parking: There is ample parking at CF Sherway Gardens, including parking decks and valet parking. Use the CF Park service to reserve a parking spot before your visit. Electric vehicles may also charge at any of 25 stations located around the parking areas.

By TTC or GO: Take the 123, 80, or 15 routes to CF Gardens. Get off at the Long Branch GO Station.
