NXNE: North By Northeast Festival
June 12 to 21, 2020 | Across Toronto | Official website
Gaming, innovation and hundreds of new and established musical artists at over a dozen venues across the city are what make NXNE a favourite of the summer festival roster.
North by Northeast (NXNE) is a 10-day summer festival destination for emerging artists and major-label headliners and for digital interactive innovators, bridging the gap between technology and the arts. NXNE is an essential gathering spot for artists, industry professionals and fans.
NXNE includes a major three-day music festival in the heart of the city at Yonge Dundas Square. The “festival within a festival” NXNE Festival Village on Yonge Street, June 14 to 16 features comedy, interviews and panels, art, great food and cool activations. NXNE Game Land returns June 7 to 9 at the Stackt Market at 28 Bathurst Street. The fest also takes over Toronto’s live music clubs with its Club Land series of emerging musicians curated by Jim Cuddy, The Elwins, Ian D’Sa (Billy Talent) and more with extended last calls at your favourite sweaty club/bar/pop up venues.
