Destination Toronto began almost 100 years ago, in 1926, as the Toronto Convention and Visitor Association. Membership has always been an integral part of the way we stay connected to the products and services of our community. Our members are at the heart of the governance of our organization, enabling our ability to grow the impact of the visitor economy on the local and regional economy of Toronto.
From our committees to our board, our members provide strategic and relevant oversight of Destination Toronto.
In addition to governance, “membership has its privileges” to borrow from another strong travel brand. Members have unique access to Destination Toronto’s digital marketing channels and content strategy, through which members reach a broad audience of visitors and residents, providing the opportunity to grow the impact of visitor spending on your unique business.
Prior to Covid-19, Toronto welcomed over 28 million visitors who spent more than $6.7 billion at hotels, restaurants, retail shops, attractions, museums, theatres and many other businesses in Toronto. As we work to rebuild the impact of the visitor economy, it’s never been more important to work collaboratively as a community and unite in our efforts to attract and welcome visitors to Toronto.
Our goal at Destination Toronto is simple: To authentically reflect the Toronto experience.
Destination Toronto’s digital marketing channels and content strategy reach a broad audience of visitors and residents, providing you with opportunities to grow the impact of visitor spending on your business.
Membership has always been an integral part of how we stay connected to the products and services of our community. Our members are at the heart of the governance of our organization, helping grow the impact of the visitor economy on the local and regional economy of Toronto. And membership unlocks further benefits and opportunities to access Destination Toronto channels to promote your business.
