Toronto Inc is a new partnership among key economic development organizations to elevate the Toronto Region's story globally and drive awareness and business to the city
Destination Toronto joined Toronto Global and the Toronto Region Board of Trade in forming Toronto Inc, a new partnership with an aim to deepen collaboration and ensure the Toronto Region's story reaches the right audiences with the most significant impact in global markets.
While each organization has a distinct mandate, they have a shared audience, and all are actively engaged in promoting the Toronto Region globally as a place to invest, meet, visit, trade and maximize business opportunities. Through the new partnership, the organizations formalize a growing collaboration to undertake joint sales missions in key international markets, jointly elevate the region's profile at major events in the city, and align strategically on a compelling narrative for Toronto.
The Toronto Inc partnership is a working group of the three organizations and other community partners. All three organizations have committed to mounting strategic activations that promote the Toronto region.
The partnership was announced with Toronto Mayor John Tory at the Collision conference, the largest international event to take place in Toronto since 2019, in a shared Toronto Pavilion jointly produced by the City of Toronto Economic Development and the Toronto Inc partners.
“Toronto has a remarkable story to share with people from all over the world. The growth we are experiencing is catching the attention of people, businesses, and investors from all over the world. This new partnership between Destination Toronto, Toronto Global and the Toronto Region Board of Trade will help us share this story on a global stage and make a further impact.
