Ready to shake it off and dive into a journey through Toronto that feels like it’s straight out of a Taylor Swift songbook? Welcome to Toronto (Taylor’s Version)—it’s been waitin’ for you!

We’ve crafted a scavenger hunt featuring 13 iconic spots across the city—each tied to a song from Taylor Swift’s eras.

How to participate in the contest

Follow the 13 clues, each inspired by an iconic Taylor Swift song from her albums
Once you reveal the location hidden in the clue, hop in your getaway car (or take the TTC)
When you reach the location, check in using your mobile pass to earn entries for prize draws
You can check in within a 0.25 m/ 0.4km radius of the location but we recommend taking the time to explore each one. Each check-in earns you one entry for weekly draws
Sign up for the pass and hit “SHARE” to spread the word with your friends on your socials! For every friend who signs up, you’ll score an extra 3 entries!

Prizes

Each week, one lucky winner will be selected to receive an exclusive Taylor Swift-themed gift box, filled with fan-favourite items.

The Grand Prize includes a two-night stay at the iconic Fairmont Royal York, a lunch included, dinner at the 360 Restaurant at the CN Tower, and a $500 shopping spree at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. Plus passes to explore Toronto’s breweries and museums, and an exclusive, custom-made Taylor Swift gift box.

The Grand Prize, worth a total of approximately $2,600 CAD, will be drawn on November 29, 2024.

All for a good cause

In honor of Taylor’s Eras Tour arriving in Toronto, Destination Toronto is donating $7,000 to the Community Music Schools of Toronto.

But that’s not all—for every check-in on the pass, Toronto (Taylor’s Version) Scavenger Hunt, another $13 will be donated to the charity, up to an additional $6,000. That total of $13,000 will go towards providing kids access to free music lessons, instruments, and social development programs to children aged 4 to 18 across Toronto.

How do I enter the contest?

Each check-in gets you one entry into the draw for prizes. Every participant is eligible for a chance to win a weekly prize, provided they have completed at least one check-in. The more check-ins you have at the time of the draw, the more chances you have to win that prize.

Is there a fee to participate?

No, participation in the scavenger hunt is completely free!

When is the scavenger hunt?

The scavenger hunt begins on October 21, 2024. You can take as much time as you need to complete all the clues and check-ins. The grand prize draw will be on November 29, 2024. Be sure to complete as many check-ins as possible before the deadline to increase your chances of winning.

How will the winners be chosen?

During November, weekly prizes will be drawn every Friday at noon. All participants who have checked in up to that point will be eligible to win a prize. The more check-ins you have at the time of each draw, the more chances you have to win. The grand prize draw will take place at noon on November 29. 2024.

What happens if I can't solve all the clues?

That’s okay! You can still earn entries for the check-ins you complete. Every stop you visit increases your chances to win.

I am not able to check-in at a location, by GPS Validation. How can I get credit for visiting this location?

Manual check-ins can be applied by contacting our support team. To validate a manual check-in, our team typically requests a picture taken at the location and the date of your visit. Please note: visits made prior to ordering the pass are not eligible for a manual check-in.

Do other people need to sign-up for their own pass or can we all use mine?

Each pass is associated with an individual user until its expiration date. An active pass can be accessed by typing in your individual e-mail address. If you have friends who want to participate, you can encourage them to sign up for the pass themselves and earn extra entries to the contest.

How long does the scavenger hunt last?

The scavenger hunt begins on October 21, 2024. The grand prize draw will be on November 29, 2024. Be sure to complete as many check-ins as possible before the deadline!
