At the heart of Toronto’s success in hosting exceptional international meetings is a unique collaboration between Destination Toronto, the Leaders Circle and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC). 

Metro Toronto Convention Centre

The MTCC, Canada’s largest convention facility, located in the heart of downtown Toronto, is one of North America’s most well-equipped and versatile meeting venues. It has hosted hundreds of international conventions—from medical congresses to scientific symposia—thanks to more than 65,000 square metres of flexible event space, two connected buildings, 77 meeting rooms, two ballrooms, vast exhibit halls and more than 11,000 hotel rooms within walking distance.

The Leaders Circle

The Leaders Circle collaborates with a network of innovators, researchers and top thinkers whose expertise is a driving factor in bringing international meetings to Toronto. Over the past decade, the Leaders Circle program has helped secure 66 international conventions for Toronto. This community represents some of the brightest minds across various fields, from life sciences and medical research to technology and finance, working to elevate Toronto's status on the world stage. The Leaders Circle recognizes the importance of innovative research and aims to contribute to furthering the knowledge wealth in Toronto and Canada by offering a grant to advance expertise in different fields.
