BMO Field is Canada’s first soccer-specific stadium, with a standard capacity of almost 28,000 seats. Located in Exhibition Place, it serves as home ground for the Toronto FC (Major League Soccer). BMO Field got a major upgrade in time for the FIFA World Cup—and new premium seating and lounge experiences will still be here long after the tournament is over. Home to the Toronto Blue Jays (Major League Baseball), Rogers Centre has capacity for 50,000 spectators, with a retractable dome roof for indoor and outdoor events. This year, the newest spot for VIP fans is Heinz Club 328, with a fieldside patio and private bar, serving up BBQ-inspired eats and ballpark favourites. There’s also the Rogers Banner Club with seats just above the home dugout, complete with in-club DJ. Scotiabank Arena sits in the heart of downtown Toronto and, in wintertime, is home to the Toronto Maple Leafs (National Hockey League). The arena has a seating capacity of about 20,000 and for VIPs, the executive suite level has six party suites, 12 premium centre ice suites and 34 premium suites. Scotiabank Arena is also home to the Toronto Raptors (National Basketball Association). The newest addition to the city’s professional sports scene is Toronto Tempo, the first Canadian team in the Women’s National Basketball Association. For women’s hockey, the Coca-Cola Coliseum at Exhibition Place hosts the Toronto Sceptres (Professional Women’s Hockey League). The capacity is 8,000, but VIPs can be in the heart of the action with court-side seats—beside the team bench or in the first row with their feet on the court. There are also several luxury suites to choose from, including the Centre Ice Suite for up to 23 people.
