Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts), Toronto’s first performing arts centre and, with a capacity of 3,191, Canada’s largest theatre, has played a defining role in the cultural life of the city for more than 50 years. Meridian Hall presents year-round programming including concerts, musical theatre, family entertainment, comedy, and dance. A “who’s who” of entertainers, politicians and other luminaries pass through its stage door. With catering and many completely customizable spaces, Toronto’s iconic theatre fills an entire city block and is proven to be an ideal venue sought out by corporate clients and event organizers looking for a unique location for their activities.
