Experience new possibilities when your uniqueness combines with Toronto’s kaleidoscope of cultures!
Bright, Open, and Inviting. Those words describe Toronto and reflect Destination Toronto’s Mix It Up in the 6ix activation. At the recent Experiential Marketer Summit in Las Vegas, attendees learned about Toronto and how it connected to them while getting to enjoy a sweet taste of the city!
This was Destination Toronto’s first major event activation after more than two years due to the pandemic. The eye-catching and engaging tradeshow set-up allowed the sales team to reconnect with clients and re-introduce Toronto to the U.S. market.
Clients visiting the booth were invited to take a fun and quick quiz about what they’d like to see and do most in Toronto. Based on their responses, the results revealed their dominant personality types which included being identified as an Innovator, Collaborator, Creator, Champion, Curator, and Adventurist.
Each personality type also aligned with one of Toronto’s pillars of strength including innovation, diversity and creativity, to name a few. Visitors then filled up on their unique “Toronto Mix” from a colourful assortment of candies that corresponded with their traits.
The objective was to showcase Toronto as a destination that offers visiting attendees the potential to experience something new, by participating in and mixing with Toronto's kaleidoscope of cultures.
Every client interaction revealed a different result, allowing guests to learn about themselves while connecting to Toronto—a city with diversity and culture that promotes and combines unique points of view.
