This June and July, the celebrations extend far beyond the stadium. Across Toronto, neighbourhoods, cultural institutions, restaurants and community groups are throwing events inspired by the global spirit of the game—think outdoor movie nights, international food crawls, dance performances, art installations and watch parties that spill onto patios and plazas.

FIFA Fan Festival™ Toronto
June 11–July 19, 2026
Fort York and the Bentway will become a major hub for live match screenings, concerts, cultural performances and global food experiences during the tournament. Expect performances from artists like Alessia Cara, Deborah Cox and k-os, plus the Indigenous-led Tkaronto Market and 30 food vendors. Tickets are in high demand, but additional general admission releases may become available throughout the tournament. Premium ticket options are also available.
GE Appliances Canada Soccer House Toronto

Harbourfront Centre will transform into Canada Soccer House Toronto this summer, bringing match screenings, DJs, live music and lots of sports energy to the city’s lakeshore. The free fan hub will feature giant outdoor screens, food vendors, giveaways and cultural programming celebrating Canada’s place on the world stage.

For a louder, rowdier game-day crowd, Belfast Love, Gift Shop, Isabelle’s and Walrus Pub are turning into high-energy fan zones all summer long. Expect giant screens, booming sound systems, special menus and packed-house atmospheres that feel closer to a stadium than a sports bar. Themed food and drink specials, match-day programming and back-to-back broadcasts make these spots ideal for marathon viewing sessions.
Football watch parties at Evergreen Brick Works

Little Italy’s unofficial soccer headquarters is ready for another legendary summer. Café Diplomatico’s sprawling patio has dozens of screens, plus the adjacent Clinton Street turns into a block party during big matches, making it one of the city’s classic places to watch a game. Toronto 2026 Cup Watch Party Boat Cruise

Most watch parties don’t float. This one does. A classic skyline cruise turns Lake Ontario into a sports bar on the water to celebrate Canada’s opening match in the tournament. The watch party also comes with a side of DJs, sightseeing and views of Toronto Stadium from the water.

The Great Beaver Quest

Yes, this is exactly as delightfully Canadian as it sounds. Old Town Toronto has hidden 48 artist-painted beaver statues across the neighbourhood—each inspired by one of the nations competing on soccer’s biggest stage. Visitors can join a free scavenger hunt, explore local shops and restaurants, and try to track down every beaver before summer ends.

As part of the Game On East End programming, Riverside Common will host a free outdoor screening of a fan-favourite soccer film under the stars. Bring snacks, grab takeout from the local Leslieville neighbourhood and prepare for emotional sports-movie montages.

The Toronto Zoo is getting in on the World Cup action with soccer-themed activities, special merch in the gift shop and plenty of photo ops with soccer ball installations and the official FIFA sign. Also throughout the month of June, they’ll be running a soccer ball recycling program.

Pasi photo exhibition
Summer 2026
This outdoor photography exhibition called Pasi—meaning “a soccer pass” in Swahili—celebrates the diversity of Toronto through portraits of local residents representing each of the 48 nations competing in the World Cup. Created by arts organization Jamii, the large-scale images are installed along the Esplanade and in David Crombie Park, inviting visitors to explore the neighbourhood while discovering the stories.

The Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto will celebrate Canada Day and the World Cup at this two-day community event featuring live entertainment, family activities, arts and crafts, soccer games, free refreshments and prizes.
